Delhi: King Abdullah II of Jordan arrives in India and warmly received at the airport by PM Narendra Modi
His Majesty King Abdullah is scheduled to begin a state visit to India on Tuesday, during which he will meet with President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and a number of senior officials.

King Abdullah’s meetings in New Delhi will cover means to bolster Jordanian-Indian relations in economic, commercial, and investment fields, as well as current regional and international developments.
During the visit, His Majesty is scheduled to participate in a session titled “Islamic Heritage: Promoting Harmony and Coexistence” and deliver his address there.
The King is also due to attend the Jordanian-Indian Business Forum, in which businesspeople, investors, and company representatives from the two countries are participating.
