New Delhi: Amidst the corona outbreak, there is a fight over oxygen in Delhi. Meanwhile, another tragic incident has come to light in Delhi. In Delhi, 25 patients have died in the last 24 hours due to lack of oxygen at Sir Gangaram Hospital. The hospital is said to have only two hours of oxygen left and is in danger of killing about 65 patients.

According to media reports, the medical director of Sir Gangaram Hospital in Delhi said that 25 patients have died in the hospital in the last 24 hours. The oxygen bus will last for two more hours in the hospital. Ventilators and Bipap are not working effectively. Oxygen is needed immediately. The lives of 60 other sick patients are at risk due to lack of oxygen. The Medical Director of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi further said that efforts are being made to restore ventilation in a non-mechanized manner in the ICU and emergency medical department.

Several hospitals have stopped admitting new patients suffering from corona following oxygen shortage in hospitals in the national capital. Like Sir Gangaram Hospital, there is only a short time of oxygen left in The Hindurao Hospital in Delhi. It has been asked to use the remaining oxygen in the ICU and use oxygen concentrators in the wards. The hospital has stopped admitting new corona patients in view of lack of oxygen.
