10-year-old suspected of theft, burned with hot tongs

New Delhi: A case of shame to humanity has come to light in the national capital, Delhi. Here, on the suspicion of stealing Iron rods, the woman held the 10-year-old innocent child hostage and thrashed him badly and also took him hostage and also burned him with hot tongs. The child was admitted to DDU Hospital where he is undergoing treatment.

According to the police, the child lives with his family in Raj Bihar of Uttam Nagar. The parents work in an export company a short distance away. At 9.30 pm, the family members came to know that their son had been taken hostage by a woman. After this, the parents reached the house of Anju (the accused woman). I saw that the child was moaning in pain. After which the child was admitted to DDU Hospital. where the child is being treated. More than 20 wound marks were found on the child's body.

On the complaint of the family members, the Uttam Nagar police station registered a case under the section of assault and hostage-taking and arrested the accused woman, Anju. During police interrogation, the accused woman Anju said that the child was playing outside the house. During this time, he picked up some of the iron rods from there. She suspected that the child had 'stolen' the rods. After which the accused thrashed him severely and burned his body with tongs.
