Fast declining corona cases in Delhi, OPD services to start in AIIMS from June 18

New Delhi: Corona cases in the national capital are continuously declining. The government has given some more exemptions from Monday. All shops, malls and restaurants have started in Delhi from Monday. Restaurants, beauty parlours and salons have also opened. However, spas, parks and gardens including schools, colleges, swimming pools are still ordered to be closed.

On the other hand, it has now been decided to restart OPD services in a phased manner from 18th June at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). Let us tell you that non-covid patients have also started reaching the hospital for treatment. In private hospitals, OPD services are going on, but they are closed in the Government. Delhi AIIMS has decided to start OPD services which will start from June 18. The hospital administration will start it in a phased manner.

According to the AIIMS administration, patients with other serious diseases have now started being admitted through the emergency department. AIIMS had 300 beds for corona infection patients. Now, these services will start in some departments first. The situation will then be reviewed and further decision will be taken.
