New Delhi: Before the year 2013, many MLAs of BJP and Congress were continuously winning elections. At the same time, the defeat of some such Congress MLAs in the 2013 elections started. There remained few BJP MLAs. After this, these veterans also got upset in the 2015 assembly elections. Now most of these MLAs have come under the category of senior citizens. At the same time it is also being said that in such a situation, this election is the last bet. In order to preserve their existence, they will have to get the first ticket this time and after that they will also have to win the election.

According to information received from sources, many of these leaders are facing opposition from party workers this time itself. They say that when the party continues to bet on them, when will the next generation leaders be ready. All these leaders are seeking cooperation from their workers to contest the last election. These leaders include BJP's Mohan Singh Bisht, Naresh Gaur, Amrish Gautam, Dr. AK Walia of Congress, Arvinder Singh Lovely, Naseeb Singh, Matin Ahmed, Veer Singh Dhingan and Dr. Narendra Nath.

At the same time, it is also being said that the Congress leader who won the election the most number of times is Matin Ahmed. He was elected MLA from Seelampur for five consecutive terms before losing the election in 2015. In 1993, the first election was held by the Janata Dal, in 1998 the second election was Independents and in 2003, 2008 and 2013, on the Congress ticket, Matin contested here and won every time. It has been noted that Congress leader Arvinder Singh Lovely also ruled Ekthatra in Gandhinagar before 2015. He has remained invincible from here till now. Arvinder Singh Lovely, who won the first election in 1998, did not look back. In 2003, 2008 and 2013 also he continued to win elections from here. In 2015, he did not contest. This time, there is talk of his landing again.
