New Delhi: In Delhi Assembly elections till 6 pm only 57 percent polling was done. But the opposition of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) saw the highest turnout in the Seelampur and Matiamahl legislatures which have faced violence. Along with Mustafabad, the maximum number of voters were seen in these two seats. There was 50.05 percent voting in Okhla Assembly. Please tell that Shaheen Bagh comes under Okhla assembly constituency. BJP made Shaheen Bagh an issue in this election.

According to Election Commission data, 66.29 percent voting has been recorded in Mustafabad Assembly in northeast Delhi till 5 pm at a record level. Let us tell you that in 2015, BJP had won the election. In that election, BJP had got only three seats. From here, BJP candidate Jagdish Pradhan defeated three-time Congress MLA Hasan Ahmed.

At the same time, 65.62 per cent maddan has been recorded in Matiamhal in Old Delhi. There were violent protests here on December 21, in which 45 people were injured. Let us tell you that on December 21, a car was set on fire outside Daryaganj police station. The police lathi-charged there and used water canons to divert the crowd.
