New Delhi:  JP Nadda, national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), on Friday performed 'bhoomi poojan' and laid the foundation stone of the Delhi BJP State Office in New Delhi. BJP state president Virendra Sachdeva was also present at the event.

"This is not the BJP office, this is the karyalaya of the Bharatiya Janata Party". somebody said. It will never close its doors to the average person. After laying the foundation stone for the BJP state office, Nadda addressed party members and said that the building was the organization's "sanskaar kendra culture house."

"PM Modi has changed not just the government but also the political culture. Starting with 'Parivaarvad,' PM Modi introduced a culture in which someone from a lowly background may become the PM, party chief, state chief, and chief minister. From vote bank politics we have come to report card politics," BJP National President JP Nadda.

"BJP is different from other parties, look at all other parties, they are all after power but they're deviating from their ideologies. Even the Communist Party has joined hands with Congress to take on BJP...but our party is standing strong on our ideology," he said, poking fun at the opposition parties.

Pushkar Singh Dhami, the chief minister of Uttarakhand, took part in a Bhoomi Pujan ceremony at the BJP office in Roorkee earlier on Thursday. In a speech given on the occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami stated: "On the basis of the blessings of Baba Kedar and Lord Badrivishal and the service, dedication, and true loyalty of all the workers, the Bhoomi Pujan of the party office in Roorkee has been completed."

The Chief Minister also paid tribute to Syama Prasad Mukherjee, stating that Mukherjee founded the nationalist movement Jan Sangh, which has since evolved into the Bharatiya Janata Party, the largest political party in the entire globe.

Nadda and Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, performed the Bhoomi Pujan for the brand-new state BJP office in Bhopal earlier in March. The 'bhumi pujan' of the new office of the state unit of the BJP included participation from party leaders as well as Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia.
