New Delhi: There are reports of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and RTI activist Zulfikar Qureshi being shot dead by unknown assailants in Nand Nagri area of Delhi. Zulfikar was going to read Namaz in the morning. Meanwhile, miscreants shot Zulfikar outside the mosque.
The miscreants attacked Zulfikar Qureshi's son with a knife. Delhi Police has admitted the son of BJP leader Zulfikar Qureshi to Swami Dayanand Hospital for treatment, where his condition remains critical. With this, the investigation of the case has been started. The family members are being interrogated after sending the dead body for postmortem. So far no official statement has been issued by the police.
