New Delhi: A cloudburst occurred near Amarnath cave in Jammu and Kashmir at around 5.30 pm on Friday. Yes, 16 people died in this incident while more than 40 people are missing. All of you may be aware that the Amarnath yatra, which was temporarily postponed from the Nunwan base camp in Pahalgam after the Amarnath tragedy, has resumed from Monday.

During this time, helicopters will be available from both Baltal and Nunwan side. This was informed by an official of Shri Amarnath ji Shrine Board late last night. On the other hand, the Amarnath Yatra from Jammu will remain suspended for now. In fact, due to the bad weather, the administration had postponed the yatra from Jammu to Amarnath on Sunday morning.
