THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi Chief Minister and head of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), has announced that his party will work with the Kerala Twenty20 Party. He dubbed the coalition the 'People Welfare Front' or 'Janakshema Munnani,' and predicted that it would seize power in the state.

Kejriwal told a large crowd at Kizhakkambalam, the headquarters of the Twenty20 party, that if AAP can take power in Delhi and Punjab, then Kerala is not difficult. He claimed that the AAP government in Delhi was able to completely eradicate corruption and provide a government for the people.

The Delhi Chief Minister said that energy, water, and education are all free in the national capital, and that the AAP government was only able to achieve this via good governance and the blessings of God.  He further said that regular people have defeated famous names in politics in Delhi and Punjab, and that this can happen in Kerala.

The AAP leader claimed that he went to the Twenty20 headquarters and seen that the Kizhakkambalam panchayat, where the party is in power, has a surplus of Rs 14 crore in the bank, despite the panchayat being in debt. He praised Sabu Jacob, the chairman of Twenty20, and said that despite being a huge industrialist and businessman, the Twenty20 founder was with the people of the region and worked for the panchayat's upliftment, whereas some big enterprises in India were not.
