Kejriwal said that the patience with which the people, officials, doctors of Delhi have fought this epidemic is commendable. The new variant of the corona, Omicron, spreads very rapidly, but its symptoms are mild.
CM Kejriwal further said that on January 13, around 29,000 cases were registered and in the second wave also there was almost the same number of cases. Even when we had 29,000 infected cases, we had 2,500 to 3,000 beds. The COVID positivity rate has registered a decline of 20 per cent in the last 10 days. Today it is around 10 per cent as compared to the 30 per cent positivity rate on January 15. This is all because of the constant pace of vaccination.
