New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal, after hoisting the flag at a program organized on the occasion of Republic Day on Tuesday, wished all the country and Delhiites a very Happy Republic Day, saying that in the past. For 2 years, the country and the world is facing the corona epidemic. The third wave of epidemic is going on in the country right now, but this is the fifth wave in Delhi and Delhiites have suffered the most due to Corona.

During this, CM Kejriwal announced that soon we will try to remove the Kovid restrictions and bring your life back to normalcy, will make all efforts in that direction. Kejriwal said that the patience with which the people, officials, doctors of Delhi have fought this epidemic is commendable. The new variant of the corona, Omicron, spreads very rapidly, but its symptoms are mild.

CM Kejriwal further said that on January 13, around 29,000 cases were registered and in the second wave also there was almost the same number of cases. Even when we had 29,000 infected cases, we had 2,500 to 3,000 beds. The COVID positivity rate has registered a decline of 20 per cent in the last 10 days. Today it is around 10 per cent as compared to the 30 per cent positivity rate on January 15. This is all because of the constant pace of vaccination.
