New Delhi: As soon as winter starts, the danger of air pollution has started looming in Delhi. Delhi's Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has written a letter to Union Minister Prakash Javadekar for looking into the matter of stubble. CM Kejriwal had sought the time of meeting the environment minister, he has written a letter on not getting time.

Delhi CM Kejriwal has mentioned in his letter the technique of the Indian Agricultural Research Institute for the disposal of the straw, to encourage the states around Delhi to use more of this technology for goods. CM Kejriwal has written in the letter that, "Indian Agricultural Research Institute has found cheap simple solution of stubble. They have made such a chemical, that spraying in the field, the starch melts and turns into compost. Due to which farmers will not have to burn stubble now".

CM Kejriwal further said that in Delhi, we are going to use this method on a large scale from this year, we will ensure that the straw will not be burned in Delhi. He has written that, "I think we are running out of time this year, but still if we all try together, we will be able to stop some stubble from burning. Now, in as little time as possible, farmers in the surrounding states should be motivated to use it more".
