New Delhi: Delhi was inundated due to incessant downpour for three days. Waterlogging in many areas has made it difficult for people to walk on the roads. Jams at places added to the problem of people who left the work required. Leaving Delhi floating in the water, CM Arvind Kejriwal is performing sadhana at Vipassana Centre in Jaipur.

Kejriwal is said to be here for 10 days. During this time, he will not meet anyone and will remain absorbed only in sadhana. It may be recalled that the rules and regulations of the Vipassana Meditation Centre are very strict and Kejriwal will have to follow them completely. In Delhi, the rain continued on Thursday morning affecting traffic once again due to waterlogging in some areas. Earlier, Delhi had recorded 229.8 mm of rain since Tuesday morning, much higher than the average 129.8mm rainfall in September. Generally, on the first two days of the month, it rains only 16.7 mm.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi recorded 117.7 mm rainfall in the last 24 hours till 8.30 am on Thursday, the highest rainfall in September in the last 19 years. The capital recorded more than 100 mm rainfall for the second consecutive day in a day.
