New Delhi: Corona cases are again on the rise in the national capital, but people are also turning to a record number of hospitals for vaccination. A total of 39,742 people have been vaccinated in Delhi on Monday. This is the second-largest vaccination figure in a day. Earlier on March 13, 39,853 people were vaccinated.

The number of beneficiaries who received the first dose of the vaccine in Delhi on Monday has reached 29,690. Of these, 21,622 people over the age of 60 and 45-59 years of age have been vaccinated. At the same time, 2,996 frontline workers and 1,643 health care workers were given the first vaccine. With this, the number of second doses of the vaccine has been recorded at 10,052 on March 15. According to age-based data, 22,100 slots were available at private centers on Monday, with 15,917 people reaching for vaccination, 72.02 percent of the total availability.

There were 37,000 slots available at government centers, while only 23,825 people arrived for vaccination which is 64.39 percent of the total availability. Delhi also registered 3 minor AEFI cases on Monday.
