More than 42 thousand active corona cases in Delhi, door-to-door survey to start in containment zone

New Delhi: The fury of Corona, which is increasing day by day in Delhi, has created terror in the mind of people. There have been 6396 new cases in the last 24 hours. 99 of those cases have died. 49 thousand 31 tests have been done in the last 24 hours and 4421 are found recovered. According to the information received, the total number of Corona cases in Delhi is 4 lakh 95 thousand 598, out of which there are more than 42 thousand active cases.

In view of the increasing threat of Corona on Tuesday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced that one lakh tests will be done every day. Since his decision, the district administration has made a plan to conduct a door-to-door survey in the hotspot area. In addition, asymptomatic patients have been asked to test every five days. There will be a door-to-door survey from Friday.

At present, between 50 and 60 thousand tests are being conducted daily in Delhi. A plan has been made to test 1 to 1.25 lakh in the coming days. It is being said that to increase the corona test, the number of teams will be increased in every district and a system will be created in every district to update the survey report. In any way, efforts are underway to control the situation.
