New Delhi: The corona epidemic in the national capital Delhi has weakened drastically. The corona is completely under control here. Active cases of infection have been reduced to less than 350. During the second wave, the number had reached around a million. Experts say the corona has died in Delhi. However, some cases of infection will continue to come here. So people need to always be vigilant.

Active cases in Delhi had started declining since the second week of June. The number of active cases during the second wave had reached nearly a million. It's now 337. The number of deaths has also declined. Where more than 200 people were losing their lives on an average daily during the second wave. Now, in the last 90 days, the figure has been the average one per day. The transition rate also remains below 0.10 per cent. Coming to corona investigations, Delhi has the highest number of tests in terms of population in the country. More than 60,000 corona tests are being carried out daily. More than 11,000 beds are vacant in hospitals. All these figures show that the corona in Delhi has now died.

Active cases have also come down to less than 350 in Delhi amid ever-decreasing cases. Active patients have remained between 350 and 400 for the past month. On the question of the complete elimination of corona in Delhi, Dr Sunila Garg, a member of the Covid Task Force, says that corona will not be completely eliminated in Delhi, some cases will always come up.
