Fresh coronavirus cases reported more than 2000 in national capital

New Delhi: 165 new cases of corona infection have been registered in the country's capital Delhi on Friday. The rate of infection has come down to 0.22 per cent and 14 patients have lost their lives in these 24 hours. The Delhi government has examined 76,480 samples in 24 hours. On Friday, 260 patients recovered and returned home.

According to an official report, the number of patients active in Delhi has now come down to 2445 and there are 698 patients who are being treated in solitary confinement at home. Similarly, 1486 patients are being treated in the hospital, 85 in covid care centre and 11 in covid health centre. The Delhi Government has conducted 53724 RTPCR and 22756 antigen tests in 24 hours. At present, there are a total of 5452 sealed areas within Delhi. The corona related rules are being strictly followed in these areas.

A total of 1432033 cases of corona infection have been registered in Delhi so far. Out of these patients, 1404688 have recovered and gone back home and the disease has so far claimed 24900 patients. The corona infection rate has been reported at 6.94 and mortality at 1.74 per cent so far.
