New Delhi: The number of patients infected with corona virus continues to decline in the country's capital. According to a bulletin issued on Wednesday, 1,491 new cases of infection have been reported in Delhi during the last 24 hours. The positivity rate here is 1.93 per cent. Meanwhile, 130 people have lost their lives due to corona in a day. In the last 24 hours, 3,952 people have recovered from corona. The number of patients recovering is higher than in new cases.

According to a bulletin issued by the Delhi government, the total number of corona cases in the capital has gone up to 14,21,477, out of which 13,78,634 people have defeated Corona. In Delhi, 23,695 people have lost their lives so far due to corona. At the same time, the total number of active cases here is 19,148. The positivity rate in Delhi has come down today, which is a matter of great relief. The total mortality rate in Delhi has increased to 1.67 percent. A total of 77,103 people have undergone corona testing in Delhi in the last 24 hours. State that lockdown is in place in the capital till May 31 to prevent the speed of corona infection.

Out of a total of 25,106 beds in Delhi hospitals, 17,878 beds are vacant. 7228 patients are undergoing treatment in Delhi hospitals, 274 in Coweed Care Centre, 76 in Covid Health Care Centre and 10,079 in Home Isolation. The increase in the number of healthy patients has led to a slight decline in the number of patients in hospitals and home isolation. The number of hotspot zones has come down to 36,873.
