Corona wreaking havoc in Delhi, 62 deaths in 24 hours

New Delhi: Corona explosion continues in the country's capital Delhi. In the past 24 hours, 2,199 new cases of corona have been registered in Delhi. During this time 62 people have lost their lives. Corona cases in Delhi have increased to 87,360, while 2,742 people have lost their lives. In the national capital, 2,113 people have also recovered from this disease in the last 24 hours. So far 58,348 people have been discharged from the hospital after treatment.

There are 26, 270 active cases of corona in Delhi. 16,240 people are in the home quarantine. There have been 9,585 RTPCR tests in the last 24 hours, while 7,592 antigen tests have been done. A total of 5,31,752 corona tests have been conducted so far in Delhi. The outbreak of corona in the country is increasing. The total cases of corona in the country has increased to more than 5 lakh 66 thousand. The number of patients recovering is more than 3 lakh 34 thousand, while 16 thousand 893 patients have been killed so far.

A high-level meeting was held in the Union Home Ministry on Tuesday about the situation arising out of the Coronavirus. This important meeting took place under the leadership of Home Minister Amit Shah. The meeting was attended by people like AIIMS director Randeep Guleria, DG ICMR Balram Bhargava, Dr. VK Paul, and Union Home Secretary.
