New Delhi: A Delhi court on Tuesday adjourned the hearing on the bail plea of accused businessman Navneet Kalra in connection with the black marketing of oxygen concentraters (Oxygen concentrators). The matter will now come up for hearing on May 28. In fact, in recent raids, police found 524 oxygen concentraters from Kalra's proprietary Khan Uncle Restaurant, Town Hall and Nege & Zoo Restaurant. Kalra is in judicial custody till June 3 in the case.

Metropolitan Magistrate Swati Sharma has posted the matter for hearing at 12 noon on May 28. The accused's lawyer Vishal Gohri had urged to postpone the hearing. The court has earlier adjourned hearing on bail petitions twice, on May 20 and May 22. The district court had on May 22 dismissed a delhi police petition urging kalra to be remanded in custody for five more days for questioning.

Meanwhile, another judge rejected a similar application on May 20 and ordered Kalra to be remanded to 14 days judicial custody. Earlier, Kalra was sent to three days police custody after his arrest. He was formally arrested the very next day after being arrested from Gurgaon on May 16.
