Delhi Crime Branch police detail 4 gangsters for attempting murder

New Delhi: Delhi Police’s special cell has arrested four members of three separate gangs who were planning to kill gangster Tillu Tajpuriya, officials familiar to  the matter said on Sunday. The arrests appears a week after gangster Jitender Maan alias Gogi was killed in a shootout inside a courtroom at Rohini courts complex on September 24. Police suspect Tajpuriya to be the main conspirator in the case.

The accused Rawan, Lala and Rohit were involved in the same murder case, in which Rwan and Rohit were on interim bail and Lala was on regular bail, Police informed. During the interrogation, it was comjeout that gangster Rohit sent a message to Rawan to meet his brother Vishnu Chaudhary and uncle to get vacated a plot in Aya Nagar and allegedly kill the persons having possession of this plot, it said.

According to the statement by officials, the arrested persons are members of Gogi, Lawerence Bishnoi and Ashok Pradhan gangs, and carried an aggregate reward of Rs4 lakh on their arrest. Police said they were involved in almost 15 cases of murder and over 30 cases of attempt to murder, robbery, carjacking, extortion, etc. in Delhi/NCR, Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh.

It is being reported thhat a dedicated team of special cell was looking at movement gangsters. Based on surveillance of some gangsters, the police got to know that members of Gogi, Bishnoi and Pradhan gangs will come to Prahladpur or Khera village on Friday.
