New Delhi: Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia has accused the Center of Modi government for half-dealing with Delhi in the fight against Coronavirus. He expressed strong displeasure over the Central Government not receiving any kind of assistance, and said that the Central Government is ignoring Delhi in the hour of this disaster.
Delhi Deputy CM and Finance Minister Manish Sisodia said that Rs 17,287 crore has been given to other states as emergency help to fight Corona. But Delhi has not given even a single rupee. Manish Sisodia has also demanded the release of an emergency fund from the Center to Delhi to deal with the coronavirus crisis. He has said that Delhi is the third most affected state in the coronavirus case. Sisodia has also written a letter to Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman about this.
Manish Sisodia wrote in the letter that in this time of crisis, the people of Delhi expect fair and equal treatment. Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia has tweeted that, 'I have written a letter to the Central Government demanding disaster funds for Delhi as well. The central government has released 17 thousand crores from the disaster fund to the states to fight the corona, but did not give even a single rupee to Delhi. At this time, the whole country should fight together. This type of discrimination is unfortunate.
