New Delhi: The Delhi Development Authority (Delhi Development Authority) is going to provide a big relief to Delhi-NCR residents and those using CNG trains. In the near future, Delhi-NCR drivers will not have to wander here and there to fill CNG as compressed natural gas (CNG) stations will be set up in Delhi on a large scale. At present, CNG drivers have to wait for a long time to fill up gas at stations.

In fact, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has taken a major decision to curb rising air pollution and promote CNG vehicles. Now, space for the CNG station will be allotted through e-auction. CNG, the DDA has approved the policy of e-auction of station plots to bring transparency in the process of allotment and enhance efficiency.

In a DDA board meeting held on Tuesday, Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal approved the decision. Now, DDA will allot station sites to CNG stations and to its letter of intent holders through e-auction. In order to promote green fuel in the capital Delhi, the authority has also decided to keep the land license fee (reserved fee) 50 percent less than the market. This license fee is much lower than the fee payable in neighboring States.
