New Delhi: Dr. Anas Mujahid, 26, has died at Guru Teg Bahadur (GTB) Hospital in Delhi. He had become corona positive. Dr. Anas died during treatment within hours of the corona report come positive. The death of Anas Mujahid at the age of just 26 has left many medical staff in a state of shock.

Dr Anas Mujahid's duty was reportedly converted into Covid Hospital GTB hospital. He completed his MBBS internship in January this year. Anas Mujahid, a resident of Bhagirathi Vihar in North-East Delhi, performed duty in the Ob-Gyn ward till Saturday evening. According to media reports, Dr. Anas Mujahid's corona report came at 8 pm on Saturday, which was positive. He was then admitted to the hospital, but died of intracranil bleeding at 3 am on Sunday. Dr Anas Mujahid's colleague Aamir Sohail said anas had gone to his house for Iftari on Saturday evening.

Talking to media, Dr Aamir Sohail said that Dr. Anas Mujahid had found a room at Leela Hotel, he felt like a fever before going to the hotel after Iftari, after which he underwent a rapid antigen test at GTB Hospital, which reported positive. Dr. Anas then suddenly fainted and fell to the ground. Dr. Amir Sohail said that we went to the casualty ward with Anas, he was not able to respond properly, then underwent a CT-scan which revealed that it was bleeding inside his brain, then he was immediately shifted to the neurology department where he died during treatment.
