New Delhi: Initial trends have started coming after counting of votes for Delhi Assembly elections. In the initial trends, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) seems to be moving towards a grand victory. At the same time, the BJP is lagging far behind. Amidst all this, the Congress Party is leading on a sole seat. The veteran leader of Delhi Congress, Aaron Yusuf is leading from Ballimaran Assembly seat.

Aaron Yusuf has been MLA from this assembly seat 5 times. In the last election, Aaron Yousuf lost to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Imran Hussain. This time Aaron Yusuf is pitted against Imran Hussain as well as Lata Sodhi of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). It is noteworthy that earlier in the 2015 assembly elections, the Congress could not even open an account, it did not get a single seat.

According to the trends so far, Aam Aadmi Party is leading on 54 seats and BJP in 15 seats, while Congress is leading on 1 seat. BJP's Vijender Gupta is leading from Rohini seat assembly seat. At the same time, BJP's Tajinder Pal Bagga has also taken the lead from Harinagar. From Malviya Nagar, your candidate Somnath Bharti is leading. Abdul Rahman of AAP has kept the lead from Sealmupar.
