New Delhi: A fire broke out in the basement of the CBI building at the CGO Complex in the Lodhi Road area of Delhi. All officers and staff have been evacuated from the building. 8 fire tenders are present on the spot. Earlier on Thursday, a major fire broke out at a factory in the Mayapuri Phase-II area of Delhi. 17 fire tenders had reached the spot.

The same firemen had controlled the fire after a lot of hard work. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. A senior fire department official said that Tahrir was received about the fire around 9.30 am. The fire department reported that there was no damage in the accident. A fire broke out in a godown in the Indralok area earlier on Tuesday. Delhi Fire Service (DFS) officials said that there is no report of any loss.

The department also said that a fire broke out around 12 noon and 10 fire tenders were sent to the spot. Delhi Fire Service Director Atul Garg said that the fire broke out in plastic items in the basement of the godown. We sent 10 fire tenders on the spot and the fire was controlled by around 2 pm. He said the cause of the fire is being ascertained.
