New Delhi: Parents of students protested outside the government school in Gole market, where the man (Electrician) was arrested yesterday on charges of sexually abusing a class two student of a New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC).

A parent said,'even women have to register their entry before going inside the school, how did a man enter just like that?', as quoted by ANI.

 Worth mention here a class two student of a New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) school in the Gole Market area was allegedly raped by an electrician inside the institute's premises, police said on Friday.

The incident took attention when the girl narrated the distressing experience to her parents after returning from school on Thursday, a police official said.

The accused recognized as 37 year old Ram Asre , who has been working in the school for around a month and is a permanent electrician employed with the NDMC staff.

According to the reports he has been arrested and a case has been registered against Ram under the applicable section of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
