Parking will not be allowed on the road at least 25 meters from both side intersections of the road. Civic agencies will adopt parking for four-wheel, three-wheel vehicles, two-wheelers and bicycles. Para-transgenic vehicle and non-motor vehicle (NVM) will be given priority in on-street parking places. As per the new parking rules, short term parking will be given priority and long term parking will be stopped in the streets. At the same time, the increasing demand for parking will be controlled on the basis of prices. A committee will be formed to monitor the parking system and it will be monitored by the Transport Minister.

According to the new rules, there is a special provision in the parking for the differently-abled. There is a special provision for separate able parking. There are guidelines for disability-free arrangements for the differently-abled and the elderly. Parking will be provided at railway stations, airports and Delhi metro stations, ISBT and other large transit points according to the rules and civic agencies.
