New Delhi: A compensation of Rs. 1 crore will be provided to the Kins’ of the Delhi Fire armed forces personnel who lose their lives while on duty. 

Today, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal supervised a Delhi cabinet meeting, in which the decision in this matter was taken.

According to the official statement, ”the cabinet approval brings Delhi Fire Services on par with the armed forces, paramilitary forces and other uniformed forces in terms of compensation”.

"This compensation policy also covers the uniformed personnel killed on duty outside Delhi, but whose families reside in the national capital," it added.
