New Delhi: The impact of the implementation of the new excise policy in the country's capital is beginning to show. Retailers have the concession that they can fix the price of their stock. In such a situation, many vendors have started giving 30% to 40% discounts. Not only on Indian brands but also on imported brands. This is a great opportunity for drinkers. According to media reports, many liquor stores in the capital have started competitive pricing.

This was not allowed in the previous excise policy. Most of the retailers have printed their rates. Delhi liquor stores are competing not only with the capital but also with Gurgaon and Noida in terms of low prices. According to the report, Chivas Regal (12 years) is available in Gurugram for Rs 2,150. A discount of Rs 150 is given on taking three bottles together. A bottle of it is being sold at Rs 1,890 at some stores in Delhi, while the maximum retail price (MRP) of Chivas Regal here is Rs 2,920.

That is, you are getting a discount of more than one thousand rupees. At another shop in Delhi, the same brand is available for Rs 1,995. Whisky Theka has 54 stores in Delhi. There, a 700ML bottle of premium brands like Glenlivet (18 years old batch reserve) is selling for Rs 5,115 while the MRP is Rs 7,415. The MRP of whisky Talisker 10 years (750 ml) is Rs 4,350,  while it is available at Rs 3,125.
