New Delhi: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has written to PM Narendra Modi on the issue of 'door-to-door ration scheme'. The Kejriwal government wrote in a letter, "Please let the door-to-door ration scheme be implemented in Delhi. To this day, I have supported you in all the causes of national interest. Now you also join us in this task'.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has said that 'we are ready to make the changes that the Central government wants to make in this scheme. The scheme should be implemented all over the country during the Corona period'. The letter says, 'CM in Delhi is going to implement door-to-door ration scheme. Not once did you object to it. Then, on January 20, the Delhi government issued a notification implementing the scheme. Tenders were floated under the scheme. The scheme was scheduled to be launched on March 25, 2021 when suddenly on March 19, 2021, the Central Government withheld some objections'.

The letter says, 'We accepted all your objections and made appropriate changes to the plan. You objected that we cannot name the scheme after the CM. Our aim was not to brighten our name. We listened to you and deleted the name of the scheme. We accepted all the objections you raised. Even after all this, you say that we did not take approval from you and you rejected the scheme?' The Delhi government has sought permission from the Centre saying, 'Let this scheme be implemented, even if you take all the credit'.
