Summer vacation to be just 15 days this year, orders issued to Delhi government schools

New Delhi: The summer vacations are awaited by everyone from teachers to students, but this year, the holidays in Delhi's government schools will be only 15 days instead of about two months. The reason for this is 'Mission Buniyaad'. In fact, summer vacations in Delhi's government schools usually take place on May 10, but this time it is not happening. The summer holidays from class 3 to class 12 will now be for only 15 days. Delhi's government schools will remain closed from June 15 to June 30.

In fact, due to the corona lockdown in the last two years, there has been a lot of loss of studies, due to which the government believes that there is a learning gap among the students, i.e. their capacity is less than the class in which they are in. To reduce this gap, an additional class of about 35 days is being imposed in government schools. However, private schools will take their own decision on holidays.

Only students from nursery to class II will get a full summer vacation. Classes will continue for students from 3rd to 9th standard to prepare them for the future. At the same time, in view of the board exams for classes 10th to 12th, in the past, classes for preparation have been held in the summer holidays, which will also take place this time.
