New Delhi: Kejriwal government is doing everything possible to fight the corona epidemic. Meanwhile, Health Minister Satyendra Jain said on Sunday that we have increased the number of beds in hospitals. The number of ICU beds has also been increased to 400. This number will increase even more in the coming days.

It is noteworthy that the daily cases of infection have been declining in the capital for two days, although there are still more cases. On Saturday, the health department confirmed the infection in 5879 people in 24 hours, while 111 patients lost their lives. Delhi has the highest number of deaths due to corona in the country. With this, the death rate of ten days has also increased to 1.65 percent, which is more than the total death rate.

According to the data released by the Health Department, the total number of infected people in Delhi has reached 5,23,117. Of these, 4,75,106 people have become healthy. On Saturday, 6963 patients were recovered. So far 8270 people have lost their lives. The overall infection rate is 9.08%. Corona currently has 39,741 active cases in Delhi. Out of these, 23,587 patients are undergoing treatment in home isolation.
