The national capital has been gripped by the scorching heat and it is not going to bring any relief. In fact, the heatwave continues for the fifth day in a row in Delhi. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that the maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be 41 degrees Celsius between the heatwave for two days, which is about six degrees above normal. The minimum temperature is expected to be 22 degrees Celsius.

It is expected to get relief from the heatwave from the coming April 13. Yes, and during this time the temperature is expected to come below 40 degrees. Delhi may have light cloudy conditions during the day from April 13. However, there will be no relief from the heat. The heatwave in the plains is declared when the maximum temperature is above 40 degrees Celsius and at least 4.5 degrees Celsius above normal. Yes, and if the temperature remains 6.4 degrees Celsius above normal, then a 'severe heat wave' is declared.
