New Delhi: With the arrival of the winter season in the capital of Delhi and its neighbouring states, air pollution also increases a lot. For this pollution, governments also consider burning stubble as a big reason. Meanwhile, the Delhi High Court has refused to hear the petition related to the burning of stubble.

The Delhi High Court has said that the apex court is already hearing a similar issue. A committee has also been constituted on 16 October. In this case, it will not be appropriate to have a parallel hearing in the case. Due to this, the Delhi High Court did not hear the petition related to the burning of stubble. This petition demanded a ban on burning stubble. He was urged to take immediate action.

The threat of coronavirus was also mentioned in the petition. The petition has also expressed the possibility of increasing the corona problem due to pollution caused by the burning of stubble. In the petition filed in the Delhi High Court, it was said that steps should be taken immediately to stop burning of straw in the neighbouring states of Delhi, Punjab and Haryana. It was said that this could increase the problems related to the corona epidemic even more.
