New Delhi: A middle-aged man was beaten to death with sticks in the Sarita Vihar area of the southeast district of the country's capital Delhi. In fact, the deceased man had gone to eat food without being invited to a marriage ceremony, due to which he was beaten to death by the marriage party.

According to the family members of deceased 50-year-old Kaushal Mukhiya, the tent owners already know Kaushal and he used to often go to marriage parties to meet them. The deceased Kaushal Mukhiya lived with the family in the Sarita Vihar area. He went out for a walk on Friday night around 11 pm. After this, he reached a wedding hall located a short distance from the Aali Vihar police post. When the baraatis questioned him in doubt, it was found that he was not invited to the marriage by anyone.

There was an argument between Kaushal and them and then they beat him badly with sticks. Along with this, his mouth was also tied with a towel wrapped around his neck. He was thrown out of the marriage baraat pandal in a seriously injured condition. After this, two youths reached Kaushal's house and reported about him lying outside. The family rushed to the spot and took Kaushal to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
