New Delhi: In the Paharganj of the national capital Delhi, miscreants have carried out a major incident of robbery. The robbers who came here in police uniform robbed jewellery worth about 2 crores. The miscreants looted this by putting chilli powder in the eyes of the courier company employee. It is being told that the incident took place at around 4.30 am on Wednesday. Some unidentified miscreants ran away after robbing the courier company employee of jewellery worth about Rs 2 crore by putting chilli in his eyes.

Police are probing the matter. It is being told that the police have got important clues. Soon the miscreants can also be arrested. It is being told that the employees of the courier company were to send these ornaments to Chandigarh and Ludhiana. According to the police, they got a call at 4:49 am that two people in Paharganj had committed a robbery with a man by putting chilli powder in his eye. The police, who reached the spot, came to know that the people who had two bags, in which there was a box full of jewellery, which was to be transported to Chandigarh and Ludhiana. But on the way, four people robbed them.

As per reports, one of the accused was also in a police uniform. He first stopped both of them in the name of searching. Then two men came from behind and threw chilli powder in the eyes of the courier company employees and they looted the bags and boxes. The estimated cost of the jewellery is said to be around Rs 2 crore. Police have registered a case and started an investigation. Police say that we have got important clues. Soon the matter will be revealed after arresting the accused.
