New Delhi: In honor of the servicemen of the Jhandewalan temple, who distributed food to 18 lakh people during the coronavirus epidemic, Delhi Police showered flowers from the sky. Ever since the lockdown started in the country, there has been a problem of food for the destitute and poor laborers. After which many institutions came forward and provided food to the people in such circumstances.

The Jhandewalan Temple Committee of Delhi also started giving food to the troubled people in the lockdown. The committee has distributed food to about 8 lakh people so far. The temple servants are still working continuously to deliver food to people in a situation like Corona. To honor this courage of the servicemen, Delhi Police organized an honor ceremony. Where all the servicemen of the temple cheered and thanked the Delhi Police by showering flowers on the sky.

Kulbhushan Ahuja, secretary of the temple committee, told the media that, 'Since the lockdown has taken place, our servicemen have been working continuously since then. Everyday about 35-40 thousand people are being given food. The staff of many police stations come to us and take food and where people need it, food is given to those people.
