Labor Minister of Delhi on problem of labours says, 'start work, migration will stop'

New Delhi: Coronavirus spread across the world from Wuhan city of China has created havoc. India too has not remained untouched by this. To prevent the spread of this deadly virus, the Modi government has implemented a lockdown across the country. Due to this, work has stopped completely and migrant workers are migrating to their areas. Hence, there is a demand for permission to start operations to stop this migration.

Delhi Labor Minister Gopal Rai has suggested the Central Government to start functioning to prevent the migration of workers. Speaking to the media on Saturday, Labor Minister Gopal Rai said that the central government should allow the government to start functioning during lockdown 4.0 to prevent migration of laborers.

Gopal Rai further said that, 'Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has sent the necessary suggestions of the public to the Central Government. The Kejriwal government wants that operations in Delhi be started gradually. Non-commencement of work is also a reason for labor migration. This will prevent stampede from spreading all around. People are returning to their homes as the work is stopped. Now we hope that the central government will make policy keeping in mind the suggestion of people.
