Liquor traffickers in Delhi beat police constable hostage, the investigation is running

New Delhi: A havildar and his informer posted in the Excise Department, who arrived in Raid Maar on Friday night at the Bindapur Pocket-4 of the national capital, were attacked by liquor smugglers. The accused beat Havildar Brajesh Pandey and looted cash and mobile. After getting information about this, the police team of Dabri police station reached the spot and arrested one accused Sagar, and admitted the victim to the hospital. The police have registered a case on the complaint of the victim.

The police officer said that the victim Havildar Brajesh Pandey was informed by his informer about illegal liquor in Bindapur Pocket-4. When Brajesh Pandey reached the spot, the wife of liquor smuggler Sagar created a ruckus. After this, Sagar and Sunny along with some other accused caught Havildar Brajesh and his Mukhbir and started the fight. Both were beaten up by the accused. After this, the accused Sunny robbed the mobile and cash from the constable.

Meanwhile, constable Kishan of Dabri police station arrived while patrolling, informing the police to save the victims somehow. On arrival, the police team admitted both the injured to the hospital and arrested Sagar, one of the accused, after registering a case. Others are being searched.
