New Delhi: ED has arrested Amit Arora in the Delhi Excise scam case. Actually, Amit Arora is a businessman of Gurugram and he is close to Deputy CM Manish Sisodia. In such a situation, ED has recently alleged that Amit Arora, Dinesh Arora, and Arjun Pandey are close associates of Manish Sisodia. Yes, and these same accused have siphoned off the money received from the liquor license holders. Let us also tell you all, ED has arrested a total of five people in this case so far.

In fact, liquor baron Sameer Mahendru was arrested by the ED on September 27 after questioning. Let us also tell you that Amit Arora is the same liquor baron who also appeared in BJP's sting operation. And the CBI also interrogated Amit Arora. Last week, the Enforcement Directorate ie ED also raided the premises of Amit Arora. Amit Arora is the director of Buddy Retails and 13 other companies, although earlier he was associated with the directorship of 37 companies.

These companies of Amit Arora are suspected to have an important role in the change in excise policy. Yes, and hotel and flight tickets were booked from the account of these companies. The big question at this point of time is whether government employees including bureaucrats/politicians benefited from Amit Arora's generosity. It is being verified. In fact, the CBI suspects that others along with Arora had a hand in formulating the new liquor policy, and directly benefited from this change. Buddy Retails Private Limited does liquor business in two zones in Delhi.

The first is the airport zone and the second is zone 30. Apart from this, an investigation is also going on whether Amit Arora's company had taken NOC from the airport authority or not. At whose behest, 30 crore rupees were returned instead of confiscating all the irregularities under the new liquor policy. In fact, it is alleged that Amit Arora was allegedly in touch with two bureaucrats who were involved in drafting the liquor policy.
