New Delhi: Outpatient department (OPD) service is going to start once again in LNJP Hospital in the national capital Delhi. LNJP Hospital is the largest corona hospital in the country. Due to the Corona crisis, the OPD service here was kept closed for a long time but now there is a steady decline in the corona case in Delhi.

The Kejriwal government of Delhi has decided that the LNJP and GTB hospital will now be partially converted into a Covid hospital. LNJP is the largest corona hospital in the country with a capacity of 2,000 beds, OPD services were stopped here since March. Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital of Delhi Government has a facility of 1500 bed Covid Hospital. The OPD service was also stopped here but now OPD services will also be started in these hospitals soon.

The Covid Care Center located in the Commonwealth Games Village near Akshardham Temple has also been closed. According to Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain, on Wednesday, 677 infected cases were registered in Delhi and more than 84 thousand tests were done. Positivity in Delhi is constantly decreasing, it is now 0.8%. That is, only eight people are getting infected after doing 1000 tests. On November 7, it was 15.26%. According to the Delhi government, more than 85% of the beds in hospitals are now empty.
