Love Jihad case identified in Delhi too, young woman suffers after revealing of dark reality

New Delhi: Since the debate over the enactment of a law on love jihad has begun in the country, there have been cases of love jihad from various states. Now, one such case has come from the country's capital, Delhi. In Rohini's Prem Nagar area in Delhi, a man changed his name and religion and framed the young woman in her love trap and went to the Arya Samaj Temple and got married.

When the man's truth opened after the marriage, the victim protested against the accused youth and began to go to his family. The accused husband had beaten her and abused her.  The victim took help from neighbours and reported the case to the police. Police rushed to the spot and rescued the girl. According to DCP Rohini, the police has registered a case under sections 419, 467, 468, 471, 474, 376, 506, 34 of IPC and three persons have been arrested.

The arrested persons include the father of the main accused and two brothers, while the main accused is still absconding. It is claimed that the accused Akhtar build friendship bond with the young woman by hiding her religion and telling her fake name and married the girl at the Arya Samaj Temple after the love affair.  At present, the police are giving a place to nab the main accused.
