New Delhi: A Muslim youth from the national capital, Aamir, voluntarily accepted Sanatan Dharma in the presence of saints during the 51-Kundiya Mahayagya held at The Ramlila Ground in Loni on Sunday. After the conversion, Aamir has changed his name to Abhay Tyagi. On April 10, the Mahant will perform his janeu rituals at Dasna temple. Aamir said that he is very much influenced by Hinduism and had been thinking about adopting Sanatan Dharma for a long time.  

According to information, Aamir, who describes himself as a resident of Kardampuri in Delhi, is unmarried and works as a welding agent. Aamir said that he belongs to the Muslim community, but his ancestors were Sanatani Hindus. On Sunday, when he attended the 51 Kundiya Mahayagya held at the Ramlila Ground in Loni, he voluntarily announced to adopt of Sanatan Dharma. He said that no one has forced any coercion on him. He is voluntarily accepting Sanatan dharma.

After Aamir's announcement, BJP Yuva Morcha (BJYM) general secretary Himanshu Sharma got Aamir included in Sanatan Dharma by vaccinating him with sandalwood and wearing the Angavastra of Sannat Dharma. At the same time, Dharmendra Tyagi, the head of the Tyagi Mahasabha, has given Aamir his gotra and named him Abhay Tyagi. On April 10, at Dasna temple, Mahant Narsinghanand Saraswati will perform the janeu sanskar of Abhay Tyagi with full legislation.
