Opening the entire case, the police said, "A family is originally from Chennai, Tamil Nadu and the deceased husband, 33-year-old Bharat J was posted as General Manager at Golden Tips Tea Company." , "Bharat shifted here from Kathmandu, Nepal with his wife and child in September. He used to work at Big Mart Shopping Mall in Nepal before Golden Tips Tea Company. Bharata's wife Sivaranjani was a housewife and daughter was a student of KG.

Bharat J's brother Karthik J Saket is preparing for a pilot course from a coaching center located in New Delhi. Bharat committed suicide by jumping in front of the metro train at around 11:30 am on Friday morning at Jawaharlal Nehru Metro station. After receiving the information, Ram Manohar Lohia with wife, brother-in-law and daughter reached the hospital. After returning home from the hospital, the wife, hurt by her husband's death, committed suicide by hanging herself  with the daughter.
