A married woman died under suspicious circumstances in the GD Colony of Mayur Vihar Phase-3. According to information received in this case, the deceased woman has been identified as Komal Gupta. According to the information received in this case, the in-law side claims that Komal has committed suicide, while the maternal side has accused of strangulation. In this case, the police say, at present, a case of dowry harassment and murder has been registered.
Further action will be taken based on the post mortem report and the facts revealed in the investigation. In this case, the police have taken Komal's husband Mohit in custody. Komal, a resident of Khoda Colony, Ghaziabad, was married to Mohit, who lives in GD Colony, in January 2019. Mother Pushpa Gupta told the police, "every demand of in-laws in marriage was met. Lakhs of rupees were spent. Even after this, the greed of Komal's in-laws was not reduced." They said that many times money was demanded. Komal was beaten up.
They also said, "We also gave money to Mohit to start work in the middle, but the abuse of those people with Komal continued." He further told in this matter that on last Friday, he got a call that Komal had committed suicide by hanging himself in the house. Now the investigation is going on in this case.
