May 14,2016: Security officials were sent into a flap when a man called up the control room at Rajouri Garden metro station this evening and he further said that there was bomb planted in Janakpuri metro station.

According to the police, “The call was received around 8.45 PM, following which a thorough search was conducted at both Janakpuri East and West stations on the blue line of Delhi metro, but no suspicious object was spotted”

Jitender Mani ,DCP (Metro) "It was a hoax call and a case has been registered,"

Investigators soon chased the caller and a team was sent to his residence in west Delhi's Sagarpur area.The man has been recognized as one Subhash Chand.

As per the police, “He is being interrogated but why he made the hoax call could not be ascertained yet”
