New Delhi [India], Dec 25 (NT): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday at the inaugural ceremony of Delhi Metro's Magenta line said this launch of new Magenta line of the Delhi Metro would establish a high point towards the development of Noida and Greater Noida.

Addressing at the inaugural ceremony of the metro line in Noida, the chief minister said that this step to launch Metro's magenta line will prove to be a milestone towards experience the dreams of development for the Noida and the Greater Noida region.

CM Yogi added the Uttar Pradesh Government would in a little while fetch new metro lines in Kanpur and Agra as well.

Adityanath further expressed thanks said “Today is Christmas and it is also the birth anniversary of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and I thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving Uttar Pradesh the present of this new metro line on this occasion,”

Prime Minister Modi inaugurated Delhi Metro's Magenta line on Monday as saffron party marked 25 Dec a national Governance Day.

The prime minister, along with UP CM Adityanath, also paid a travel on a patch of the new route - from Noida to the Okhla Bird Sanctuary station.
