New Delhi: Petrol and diesel prices have risen sharply in the past one month. The price of CNG has also been increased several times. In such a situation, the problem of livelihood has also arisen in front of the auto-rickshaw drivers. Several auto drivers' unions in Delhi have demanded the government to increase fares. Kailash Gahlot, transport minister in the Delhi government, has said that soon the transport department will form a committee for this and submit its recommendations to the government on all the demands.

Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot has issued a formal statement saying that due to the rising fuel prices, the auto taxi unions are demanding a reconsideration of the fares, which the Kejriwal government understands well and for this, the transport department will soon form a committee and give its report to the government. After the transport minister's statement, it is believed that the fare of auto-rickshaws in Delhi may also increase soon, which will have a direct impact on the pocket of the common man.

The fares of auto-taxis have not increased in Delhi for years, but the way the prices of petrol-diesel and CNG have increased in the past, it has also created problems for auto-taxi drivers. In view of the need for such inflation, the auto drivers' union has demanded the Delhi government to reconsider the fares.
