New Delhi: Corona trends are being seen differently in different states of the country. More than 48,000 new corona cases have been registered in Maharashtra on Friday. According to the report late in the evening, 48,270 new corona patients have been found in the state. The number of active corona cases in the state has increased to 2,64,388 after new patients were reported. In the last 24 hours, 42,391 corona patients in the state recovered and returned home. Meanwhile, 144 cases of new corona variant Omicron have been registered in the state.

Mumbai on Friday reported 5,008 new corona cases, down 700 from Thursday. 12 corona patients have also lost their lives in the district. BMC said in a health bulletin issued late in the evening that corona cases in the city have risen to 10,28,715, while the death toll has risen to 16,512, the third consecutive day when new corona cases have declined in the country's economic capital. At present, there are 14,178 active cases of corona in Mumbai.

Meanwhile, more than 10,000 new corona cases have been reported in Delhi on Friday. According to a report released on Friday evening, 10,756 new corona cases have been reported in Delhi. During this period, 38 corona patients have also lost their lives. The corona positivity rate in the country's capital has declined. The positivity rate on Friday was recorded at 18.04 per cent. According to the report, a total of 2,656 corona patients are admitted to hospitals in Delhi.
